The city
The
province of Granada holds an unimaginable quantity and variaty
of touristic attractions in a area of only 13.000 Km2.
the
Alhambra, the most visited monument in Spain and one
of the most beautiful in the entire world;
Sierra
Nevada one of Europe’s best ski resorts, just half an
hour away by car or bus ,
The Costa del Sol, where we swap the snowy mountains
for the sunny beaches, where you can enjoy comfortable temperatures
all year round just 40 minutes away by car or bus.
The
city of Granada bewitches her visitors with its great history
and beautiful monuments. It has a top notch cultural calendar,
a whole range of festivals and traditions, and a lively atmosphere
generated by more than 60,000 students at the Granada university.
For
lovers of nature and rural tourism, the province is home to five
natural parks and a national park. Enjoy peace and quiet in the
little villages in the Alpujarras, an almost unspoilt area, where
time seems to have stopped and where you can take excelent walks
with amazing views on the white villages below and the snowy mountaintops
of the Sierra Nevada
Explore
more inland areas, like the Marquesado and the Altiplano, which
show an incredible contrast between almost moonlike desert landscapes
and the leafy vegetation of the surrounding hills. Or, in the
west of the province, visit the Granada Poniente with its great
islamic heritage and breathtaking monuments.
Besides
all this, Granada also has a spectacular nightlife
due to his
abundance
of students with a weekend that starts at wednesday and ends at
sunday. The nights are filled with all different types of atmospheres
and music like; Flamenco, Rock, Regea, Techno, Salsa and much
more...
All
in all Granada is one of the best destinations for a great summer
holiday.
The School
The
school building is located in a quiet and safe area in the centre
of the city, just a stonethrow away from the Cathedral and within
a walking distance of the Alhambra. The school is a spacious building
with bright classrooms equiped with airconditioning, comfortable
chairs and audio-visual equipment.
Because
of the schools central location it is very easily accesible by
bus and other means of public transport. This also makes the snowy
mountains of the Sierra Nevada and the sunny beaches of the Costa
del Sol easily accesable at almost any time of the day.
The
school also has a recreational area where the students can watch
TV/Video, exchange experiences or try their progress on their
international fellow-students, read the newspaper or just relax
with a cold beverage. There is also a computer area with internet
so you can keep in touch with your family and friends at home.
How
to get there?

best way to get to Granada is to travel to Málaga airport
which is among the first twenty European airports and has connections
with the principal European capitals, the main cities in North
and South America and other parts of the world. From

the busstation in Granada u take bus 33 untill Calle Acera del
Darro. From there it is still a little walk down in the direction
of the 'Cort Inglés' where the school is located.
