Town
Situated on the northwestern corner of the beautiful Castillian
plain not far from the border of Portugal, Salamanca proudly identifies

Hardly any other town offers such a thrilling nightlife as Salamanca,
and the students of this old University town confirm that its great
luck to study here.

“Ir de pinchos” means to “go out” in Salamanca,
as in many of the bars you are offered a free snack, “pincho”,
whenever you ask for a drink - specially surprising, as prices
are really adapted to a student’s pocket.
The School
Right
next to La Plaza Mayor is the Alhambra Institute, known for its
preparation for state exams in Spanish language. Here you will
find a pleasant scholastic establishment with all the latest technical
equipment as well as lecture rooms and libraries which are both
welcoming and comfortable.
The easiest way to arrive salamanca is to come by airplane to
madrid, and take a bus to Salamanca.
The bus connection from Madrid to Salamanca is excellent.
