ELITE

(European Federation of National Associations for Teaching Mother Tongues to Foreign Students)

- ELITE was founded in 1995 with the aim to encourage students to learn foreign languages in the original countries. Another goal is to reach a high level of professionalism and competence of language courses as well as the encouragement of the Europe- and worldwide linguistic, cultural and economical exchange.
This association intents to achieve this aims on many ways:

• by an information exchange between the members,
• by its presentation in the public,
• by the participation in Fachausstellungen and conferences,
• by the high requests in his members, among other things the imperative to take part in the european qualitiy comparison,
• through the Interessenvertretung of the language schools and institutes with the organisation.

Since her foundation in 1997 ELITE has recruited new members in Portugal and Germany. So ELITE consists now of 6 members, 4 of them are her founders - Italy, Great Britain, France and Spain.
